Raddy Ferreira Moves On

Just received information that Raddy passed away while performing on a Cruise Liner

Raddy hired me in Melbourne as his bassist in 1969 when I was a raw , naive musician of 21yrs - He had faith in me, tutored me, was my mentor, and the next three years or so I worked with him happily. A more generous, loyal or supportive person I have not met. Thank you Raddy for all you have done for me , the music world, and the world at large. Peter Draper

Raddy Ferreira a real gentlemen, always had time to have a chat, with his friendly smile, he was a exceptional person and afabulous musical talent. My early memories was when he performed at the Mandarin Club in Sydney- being a exclusive club during the 70's our only point of entry was through Raddy- great music and fond memories- old mate. we will Miss you RIP
